Lenticular Truss
Also known as an elliptical truss, this bridge is a graceful single
track bridge that started to appear in the 1870's and was used through the
1940 on light trackage (code 55). In many cases, once the bridge had
outlived it's railroad usage the bridge was converted to vehicle use. Some
are still active today.
The kit features accurate rivet detailing, cross bracing detail,
prototype pin connections, bracing wire with turnbuckles and hanging floor
system.

Double Track Parker Truss
This is our third bridge project. The prototype bridge is the PRR
double track Parker Truss pin-connected heavy mainline bridge found in
Whitford, PA. This bridge has all the items that make this a great project
... Large girders, Pin-connected, Cross laced members, Lacey
superstructure.
It is also a BIG bridge with a span over 380 feet. Projected to be
released in Winter 2006 in both HO & N scales.
We will also be releasing a single track version based on the PRR 52nd
Street flyover bridge which is also a Parker Truss. |
